Letter From the Co-Presidents

We're glad you've stopped by the MBC website!

We hope that your being here means that you're interested in what we're doing and looking to get involved, because we need you! Members and volunteers are the lifeblood of this organization, so we hope that you're ready to be a part of Mustang Nation and help us build something great together. 

A Little About Us
We're passionate about the holistic student experience, so when we had a chance to to lead the Mustang Booster Club, it seemed like a good fit. That's because MBC supports all students involved in all activities. That's important to us, because we know that  participating in activities can be transformative for students, regardless of the activity. Whether it's band, robotics, show choir, athletics or DECA, we know that students benefit from extracurricular activities, and we want to do our part to support them. 

We have two daughters who are or will be Millard North students. Right now, they're into basketball, soccer and volleyball, but we can't wait to see where their interests take them as they grow at MNHS.

Angie is originally from central Nebraska and went to Centura High School. There, she played basketball, ran cross country and track and was a cheerleader, too. She went on to graduate from UNL with a degree in Exercise Science, and also has a master's degree in Sports Administration from Southern Mississippi University. These days, she's an avid triathlete traveling across the country competing in Half Ironman races. She's already completed Half Ironman races in Maine, Delaware, Colorado, Iowa and even Cozumel, Mexico! 

Kurt is from Atlanta, Georgia. He played football, basketball and high jumped at Tucker High School. He earned a football scholarship to the University of South Carolina, where he was a member of the first team to win a bowl game. He also earned a degree in English, and also has a master's degree in English from Georgia Southern University. (Sorry Husker fans, but GO EAGLES!) Kurt spends most of his free time coaching basketball and soccer. 

We hope that you've gotten to know us a bit, and now we want to get to know you. If you see us around, please introduce yourself and let's connect. We're looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish together as Mustang Nation!
